About us
Strength-wood is a faith-based humanitarian organization driven by a simple but powerful calling: to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through service to humanity. Established in the year 2020, our mission is rooted in compassion, generosity, and the belief that faith must be expressed not only in words but also in practical acts of love. Through our outreach initiatives, Strength-wood has remained committed to supporting vulnerable
individuals and communities.We carry out humanitarian missions that include the distribution of
food and clothing, hospital visitation, assistance with medical bills for those in need, and relief
support for internally displaced persons particularly women and children who are often the most
affected in times of crisis. Our work is guided by the conviction that every life matters and that hope can be restored when people are shown genuine care and kindness.
Another vital part of our mission is strengthening families and nurturing healthy relationships.We believe that strong families form the foundation of strong communities. This vision gave birth to Couples Connect, an initiative that brings together young couples in different cities for an inspiring and transformative experience. Through Couples Connect, we host relationship boot camps where couples learn practical Christian principles of marriage while also enjoying engaging activities that
foster friendship, unity, and lasting bonds. Over the years, these initiatives have created spaces where compassion meets action, where families are strengthened, and where faith is lived out in meaningful ways. At Strengthwood, we recognize that the work of humanitarian service and family transformation cannot be done alone. We warmly welcome partnerships with churches, organizations, volunteers, and individuals around the world who share our passion for serving humanity and spreading the love

Our Founder
VICTOR UKWUVictor Ukwu is the President and Founder of Strength-Wood, a mission-driven organization focused on humanitarian outreach, leadership development, and family transformation. With over 20 years of experience in ministry and community leadership, he has led initiatives that have impacted thousands of young people and communities across different regions.He has also worked in the development sector as a leadership consultant and regional project manager, contributing to efforts addressing irregular migration and human trafficking in collaboration with international organizations. Alongside this, he has served faithfully in various pastoral roles across mission fields.Passionate about raising people of purpose and integrity, Victor leads impactful humanitarian and family-life initiatives through Strength-Wood. Together with his wife, Cynthia, he mentors singles and couples and leads programs like the Couples Connect bootcamp. He is an engineer by training and currently lives in Sweden with his family.

Abuja CLOTHE-A-CHILD Outreach - 8TH APRIL 2021
Over 500 children and 300 families reached. 50 of these children received salvation for the first time. Hallelujah!! Each kid received CLOTHE GIFT PACKS (our #GospelOpportunitues).

OROGWE TEENGERS HANGOUT/OUTREACH - 16TH APRIL 2022
Over 43 in attendance. 22 Teenage souls were turned to the Lord, purposes were discovered and the Teenagers were enrolled into a strategic Mentorship and Personal Development Programme by our Strength-Wood Coaching Team.
SAMARITAN'S PURSE OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (OCC) OUTREACH IN PARTNERSHIP WITH STRENGTH-WOOD - APRIL 2021
150 unreached Children REACHED. 150 SHOE GIFT BOXES received from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc - distributed to the children who experienced the tangible love of Christ. STRENGTH-WOOD is a long standing Ministry partner with Evangelist Billy Graham's Foundation - Samaritan's Purse, now passionately led by the Rev. Franklin Graham.
PORT HARCOURT FEED-A-CHILD OUTREACH - 27TH MAY 2024
👉 Food items and relief materials were given to over 100 children and their families.
👉 Children gave their lives to the Lord and are being discipled to be Love Ambassadors .
👉 Rumuokwuta community felt the presence of God and were impacted tremendously.
👉 JESUS was imprinted in the hearts of the children.
LAGOS MEDICAL OUTREACH @ GBAGADA GENERAL HOSPITAL IKEJA - 14TH FEBRUARY 2026
Strength-wood paid the hospital bills of 2 malnourished Babies in the NICU, 1 abandoned down-syndrome baby, and 9 Adult Patients in the general wards. A total of 12 patients received financial aid for their medical bills.
We did not fail to introduce JESUS in the Wards as we offered Prayers of Faith & Healing.
The Gospel is preached! Souls and Bodies are saved!! Jesus is indeed glorified!!!
STRENGTH-WOOD CHILDREN BIBLE CLUB Graduation
After a 12-week long Bible-based Discipleship Course, STRENGTH-WOOD graduated her first set of Bible Class Graduands from Angwan-Hakimi Community in Abuja Nigeria.
Each Graduate received a Bible, Certificate of Graduation, and the Greatest Journey Study manual from our mission Partners - Samaritans Purse
