About us
Strength-wood is a faith-based humanitarian organization driven by a simple but powerful calling: to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through service to humanity. Established in the year 2020, our mission is rooted in compassion, generosity, and the belief that faith must be expressed not only in words but also in practical acts of love. Through our outreach initiatives, Strength-wood has remained committed to supporting vulnerable
individuals and communities.We carry out humanitarian missions that include the distribution of
food and clothing, hospital visitation, assistance with medical bills for those in need, and relief
support for internally displaced persons particularly women and children who are often the most
affected in times of crisis. Our work is guided by the conviction that every life matters and that hope can be restored when people are shown genuine care and kindness.
Another vital part of our mission is strengthening families and nurturing healthy relationships.We believe that strong families form the foundation of strong communities. This vision gave birth to Couples Connect, an initiative that brings together young couples in different cities for an inspiring and transformative experience. Through Couples Connect, we host relationship boot camps where couples learn practical Christian principles of marriage while also enjoying engaging activities that
foster friendship, unity, and lasting bonds. Over the years, these initiatives have created spaces where compassion meets action, where families are strengthened, and where faith is lived out in meaningful ways. At Strengthwood, we recognize that the work of humanitarian service and family transformation cannot be done alone. We warmly welcome partnerships with churches, organizations, volunteers, and individuals around the world who share our passion for serving humanity and spreading the love

Our Founder
VICTOR UKWUVictor Ukwu is the President and Founder of Strength-Wood, a mission-driven organization focused on humanitarian outreach, leadership development, and family transformation. With over 20 years of experience in ministry and community leadership, he has led initiatives that have impacted thousands of young people and communities across different regions.He has also worked in the development sector as a leadership consultant and regional project manager, contributing to efforts addressing irregular migration and human trafficking in collaboration with international organizations. Alongside this, he has served faithfully in various pastoral roles across mission fields.Passionate about raising people of purpose and integrity, Victor leads impactful humanitarian and family-life initiatives through Strength-Wood. Together with his wife, Cynthia, he mentors singles and couples and leads programs like the Couples Connect bootcamp. He is an engineer by training and currently lives in Sweden with his family.
